SYNTHESKILLZ …."The synthesis of skill"… is a community based urban/street dance project founded by Prosenjit Guy Kundu (Virginia, USA) and Priya Lisa Gonsalves (Mumbai) to promote and encourage Urban Dance Styles in India. As the name suggests, Syntheskillz aims at creating unique events, dance jams, classes etc, displaying the versatility of these styles and culturally bringing together the east and west through dance programs. The aim is in fact, the Synthesis of dance skills, events and classes to develop a creative consciousness in India with regards to this urban dance phenomenon. To the unfamiliar some of these styles are broadly known as Hip Hop, House, Popping, Locking, Waacking, Breakdancing and other styles that are constantly evolving. One of our long term goals at Syntheskillz is to have workshops/events /collaborations in India featuring International artists as well as promoting local talent and teachers. We also hope to facilitate Indian artists to perform and compete at international battles, contests and events. We are also open to looking into other urban arts promotion outside of the dance medium.
